🔥 Emberforge — Privacy Policy

The short version

Emberforge never collects your identity. There are no accounts, no advertising, and no tracking of who you are. The only thing the game ever sends us is a handful of anonymous gameplay counters — and you can switch even that off in Settings.

What we store

Your game progress (gold, stations, upgrades, achievements, purchase entitlements) is saved only on your device. Deleting the app deletes the save.

Anonymous statistics

To understand how the game is played (for example, how many players reach their first Reforge), the app sends a few gameplay counters — things like “session started” or “prestige reached” — labelled with a random install token generated on your device. This token is not tied to your name, email, phone number, device identifiers, or location, and we cannot use it to identify you. No advertising or third-party analytics SDK is involved. You can turn this off anytime in Settings → Share anonymous statistics; deleting the app removes the token from your device. Counters already sent are held briefly in aggregate on our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) before aging out automatically — they contain nothing that could identify you.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their own terms and privacy policies. We receive no payment details. If purchase verification is enabled, the app sends the store-issued purchase token — which contains no personal information — to a verification service that checks it with Apple or Google and stores nothing.

Children

Emberforge collects no personal data from anyone, including children. The game is rated for all ages.

Your rights

We hold no data that can identify you, so there is nothing personal for us to access, correct, or delete. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored progress and the random statistics token. To manage or cancel the Master Smith Pass subscription, use your App Store or Google Play account settings.

Changes

If a future update ever changes what data the game handles, this policy will be updated first and the change highlighted in the release notes.
